With the Easter holiday approaching we’ve been working on some Easter themed crafts this week. The craft I’m sharing today is a great handprint keepsake as well as a simple fine motor activity! Follow the directions below to make these easy peasy Yarn Wrapped Carrots.
Yarn Wrapped Carrot Craft For Kids

Materials Needed:
- Cardboard
- Orange Yarn
- Green Cardstock Paper
- Scissors
- Tape
- Glue Stick
Directions:
For the first step you’ll be cutting a carrot shape out of a piece of cardboard, this step should be left to an adult because the cardboard can be tough to cut through.
Once your shape is cut, take your orange yarn and tape the beginning of the yarn to your carrot so the yarn stays in place. Then start wrapping!
Then once you’ve finished wrapping your yarn you can take the end of it and tape it or tie it to the back. And to finish off your carrots attach some handprints cut out from green card stock paper!
