Blow painting is such a fun technique for kids to try. We used it to make these colorful jellyfish. See the directions below.
Supplies Needed:
- Acrylic Paint
- Water
- Straws
- Blue Cardstock paper
- White Cardstock Paper
- Dropper
Direcitons:
Step 1: Mix some acrylic paint with water. Make sure to not make it too watered down or you wont be able to see the color when blowing it on the paper. You want to make sure it’s still a little thick.
Step 2: Take a piece of white cardstock paper and using a dropper add a few drops of your paint mixture.
Step 3: Use a straw and blow the paint across the paper.
Step 4: Cut out a jellyfish shape out of colored cardstock paper making a half circle and make it wavy on the bottom.
Step 5: Glue the jellyfish shape onto the top of your blow paint art.
