We are currently getting ready for Halloween events galore! Which means I’m getting together fun Halloween treats for friends parties, trick or treating, and the kids classroom parties. One of the treats we’re handing out for our classroom parties are these not-so-scary Butterfinger Monsters. I love these little guys so much, not only because they include my favorite crispety, crunchety, peanut-buttery Butterfingers but this project was so simple to make that the kids could help decorate the monster’s too! You can also add in other craft supplies besides googly eyes and let them personalize each monster for their friends.

How To Make Candy Bar Monster Treats
Supplies Needed:
- Monster PDF Printable
- Funsize Butterfinger Lay Down Bag
- Colored Card Stock Paper
- White Card Stock Paper
- Glue Dots
- Googly Eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions: 1. To begin making your Candy Bar Monsters you’ll want to use our free printable Monsters set that you can download here. The Monster printable is a simple monster outline that you can use to cut out your monsters. We used different colored card stock paper in our printer. Use any color you’d like, but we used green, blue, and orange card stock for ours. Once you’ve selected what color of card stock you’d like to use, then you’ll want to insert your card stock into your printer and print them out and cut. 
2. Once you’ve cut out your monsters then you can use glue and glue on your googly eyes. Use however many googly eyes you’d like. Be creative and personalize them!
3. Next you’ll cut out a 5in x 3in strip of white cardstock paper. This will be used to make the teeth. 4. Fold your white cardstock paper in threes. You’ll notice your Butterfinger candy bars will fit perfectly in the middle while the top and bottom flaps will fold over. 
5. For this next step you’ll cut out a few jagged edges on the top and bottom flaps to make the teeth.
6. Then using glue dots you can attach your Butterfinger candy bars into the middle of your teeth so that it looks like the teeth are eating them. 
7. And then finally you’ll glue your teeth with your Butterfinger onto your monster. You can also add a personalized note on the back of your monsters saying who they’re from if you’re handing them out for classroom treats.
Now you’re all ready to hand out your not-so-scary Halloween Butterfinger Monsters!
