Today we’re sharing the perfect playroom addition to get your kids creative juices flowing! No playroom is complete without a spot for some arts and crafts. And what better way to let your kids create than with a large erasable wall decal that they can use over and over again? Plaeful.co recently launched their Erasable Frames Wall Decal that we just installed in our playroom. But it’s been used for so much more than just coloring.
I’m in no way affiliated with Plaeful; I received this product in exchange for an honest review so I can share what I love with my readers.
Thanks to Artsy Momma, she had a fabulous idea to use foam stickers on her decal. We didn’t have any foam stickers on hand but we did have a ton of Melissa and Dough reusable stickers. Besides using the decal for coloring, the kids have also used it to create stories using their transportation stickers. And these are also great for parent’s too. I always have a few adult coloring books laying around, but because the decal is large it’s the perfect size for us to color as a family. And the best part is that you can erase, take of the stickers, and do it all over again!
The decal is 3 feet wide by 2 feet tall and includes fun whimsical frames for doodling. The decal can be hung on the wall permanently by removing the backing, or you can use the removable sticky pads that come with the decal to hang on the wall. You can use washable or wet erase markers with this, we used washable Crayola markers and they wiped right off with a damp towel. If you want to use this for a larger space you could also place a couple decals side by side.
The whole family has been coloring on our erasable frames wall decal, including our 2 year old. She loves being able to have such a huge space to color in. As you can see in the picture below, she usually has the whole decal covered and has a blast doing it! This is also great for dinner time when I can let the kids color and play while I get a few things done.
