We’ve been learning about different animals and their habitats this week and are currently onto the rainforest. One of our favorite rainforest animal is the Toucan which is the inspiration for todays craft! This Toucan craft is so fun and simple to make using handprints, acrylics or watercolor paints, and some card stock paper.
Handprint Toucan Craft For Kids

- Black & White Card Stock Paper
- Red, Green, and Yellow Paint
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Googly Eye
Directions:
To begin you’ll want to cut out the shape of your toucan’s beak out of white card stock paper. Then take your red, yellow, and green paint and paint the beak.
Next, take some black card stock paper and cut out your handprint and the body of your toucan.
Finally you’ll attach them all together with a glue stick and add a googly eye for your final touch!
