Every year our family puts together a Halloween party, this year just happened to be my turn to host it. We all know one of the most important things at a party is the food, especially a party for a bunch of kids 8 and under! I wanted to step away from the usual party food and go for some fun healthy snacks for the kids, the sugar rush can wait till after trick-or-treat night.
I was so excited to see NatureBox advertising for a free trial, that I thought it would be the perfect fit for our snack table. There are no artificial sweeteners, flavors or colors, zero grams trans fats, and no high fructose corn syrup. You can learn more about their Product Promise here.
There are over 100+ snacks to choose from in the NatureBox Snack Catalog, so it’s perfect for a mother like me who is looking for snacks safe for her younger children like the nut free options, and snacks for herself. It was so hard for me to narrow down to the five products I wanted for the party because they all looked so good! I finally decided to order the
– Sweet Blueberry Almonds
– Peanut Butter Nom Noms
– Baked Sweet Potato Fries
– Apple Pie Oat Clusters
– Sourdough Cheddar Pretzels
Of course, when I received my Naturebox I had to taste test them before the party. That was a bad idea! The Sourdough Cheddar Pretzels were AMAZING, I could order all five of my next bags of just them and be satisfied. I even had to yell at my husband a few times to get out of the snacks before the party, before they were all gone! My other favorite were the Sweet Blueberry Almonds, they were some of the best flavored almonds I’ve ever tasted. Not to sweet, and the perfect filling healthy snack to have on hand.
To make these snacks even better for the kids we added fun spooky printable labels to them. Of course they had no idea that the delicious Zombie Fingers they were devouring were actually a healthy snack, the Sweet Potato Fries!
We had the Spider Eggs, Witches Wart, Night Crawler Clusters, Frankenstein Nom Noms, and Zombie Fingers as the spooky names for the snacks. All of the kids loved the snacks, we ran out of the Apple Pie Oat Clusters and Peanut Butter Num Nums before the party was over!
