If you seen our post 16 Fun Ways To Dye Easter Eggs that I shared a few weeks ago, you’d know that this Easter I was looking for a fun new way to dye our eggs. However, I’m pretty sure this activity I’m about to show you may be my all time favorite that includes my little trick to keep the activity mess free for my kiddos. My one year old was even able to join in on the egg decorating fun!

Princess Easter Egg Decorating | Crown Egg Holders
Materials You’ll Need:
Crown Egg Holder
– Paper Tube
– Paint
– Glitter
– Glue Stick
– Gems
First for the princess crown egg holders, I traced the crown outline on the paper tube roll.
After it’s been cut the kids can start painting the crowns.
Add on some fun gems and glitter!
Glitter Paint
I wanted to keep the paint safe for my one year old to use so we used cool whip. First you’ll take a few spoonfuls of your cool whip topping and place it into a zip lock bag. Add a few drops of food coloring, we used a few different colors to create a marble effect. And glitter’s optional!
Next close the zip lock bag and the kids can swirl the egg around in the paint. The only messy part was taking the egg out of the bag which you can leave to the adult so that the kids are mess free.
Finally I wiped the paint off the egg and placed them on our princess crown egg holders to dry in the fridge for a few hours.
