Printable Kids Morning and Evening Routine Chart

March 13, 2018 by Jackie Cravener 40 Comments

I’m not sure what it is about Spring that makes you want to deep clean but I always get excited. I love decluttering and refreshing my home. I wanted to incorporate my kids into the spring cleaning now that they’re finally at the age where they’re excited to help and can do a few chores around the house. I decided to start them out with a visual chore/routine chart that included some easy to do chores for their age and other day to day tasks that they can be doing by themselves. Not only does this help your workload, but it also helps them learn responsibility and home management.

You’ll want to make sure to tailor the chores to their age level, children as young as two can start carrying out simple chores like picking up books or toys. The younger you start chores with your kids the better! The chores will become a part of their daily routine and be a habit that they will carry with them into adulthood. You can print out this handy visual chore chart to get them started. Click here to download, print, and hang up on the fridge for a daily reminder of their morning and evening jobs!

Since we’re tackling spring cleaning this week, I picked up a few On-Cor entrées to simplify dinner time, that way dinner is one less chore on my to-do list. Simply pop it into the oven and you’ll have an extra hour to spend with your family or to tackle more on your Spring to-do list. I love how On-Cor is just a freezer away for an always easy, always satisfying and always ready solution for those busy weeks. Life’s demanding enough. Dinner shouldn’t be.

My family loves the Gravy & 6 Salisbury Steaks and the Lasagna with Meat Sauce, they’re always our go-to meals! You can keep your On-Cor entrée as is, or put a personalized spin on your favorite meal, such as turning the Gravy & Salisbury Steaks into sliders, or adding chicken to the flavorful Macaroni & Cheese. For additional information about the entrée’s, visit www.On-Cor.com and www.facebook.com/oncorfrozenfoods.

While our On-Cor entrée is in the oven cooking, we had time to finish up our evening chores before dinner was done. While dinner is cooking the kids always help out with setting the table, tackling homework, and finishing up the dusting/sweeping around the house.

If you’re just starting your child out with chores one important thing to remember is to not expect them to understand how to do something without being shown how to do it. Because my daughter is younger and just starting out with chores I usually do them with her till she understands how to do them herself or she helps out her older brother.

You also want to praise them liberally, even if the job wasn’t done perfectly but you can tell they were doing their best then shower them with encouragement.

To help you out with your Spring cleaning we have an amazing giveaway valued at $200 that includes a coupon for a free On-Cor entrée, items to organize your kitchen, and cleaning supplies for the kids that you can use with our printable chore chart! See the details below!
For your next family meal, head to the freezer aisle of Wal-Mart or check out the store locator at www.on-cor.com to pick up one of On-Cor’s entrées.

Giveaway: We have (1) Coupon Valid for One Free On-Cor Entrée (1) Organizational Glass Containers, (1) Scrub Brush, (1) Kids Cleaning Set, (1) Set of 4 Kitchen Towels, (1) Sink Caddy (ARV: $200)
