Autumn is almost here, and I can’t wait for the cooler weather and pumpkin and apple everything. To celebrate we’re sharing a simple fall craft that is actually one of our favorite fall treats… Caramel Apples! This craft is so simple and fun. Check out the tutorial below to get started.

Materials Needed:

  • Card Stock Paper
  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Sprinkles or Glitter
  • Shaving Cream
  • White Glue
  • Brown Paint
  • Scissors
  • Paint Brush

Directions:

To begin, you’ll want to trace a few apple shapes out onto your red and green card stock paper then cut them out.

Then you can start the puffy paint mixture by mixing equal parts of Elmer’s white school glue and shaving cream together. Next take your brown paint and mix some into the puffy paint mixture until you get your desired color.

Because the puffy paint can be a little messy I used extra sheets of paper behind the apples when while we painted them. Then you can add the brown puffy paint to your apples. As for the sprinkles you can either use actual sprinkles or glitter works well too.

Finally when your paint has dried attach your popsicle stick to the back of your apple!

Those apples are adorable! They make an easy birthday party craft too.
