One of my goals for 2018 was to include more family time into our busy schedules. My husband travels every other week for work so my kids always look forward to our family nights that we have when he is home. I try to switch it up and have a family game night one week and maybe a family movie night the next. This week is our first family movie night for the year and thanks to On-Cor I have the kids joining me in the kitchen while dinner is cooking to prep for our movie night dessert!
For our family nights I know I can depend on On-Cor to provide my family with a quick and always satisfying meal. On-Cor does the prep work, so you can take care of other to-do’s that need to-doing. Life’s demanding enough. Dinner shouldn’t be. Simply pop it out of the box and heat and serve. Quality food has never been so convenient! For additional information about the entrée’s, visit www.On-Cor.com and www.facebook.com/oncorfrozenfoods.
While dinner is in the oven, the kids and I can tend to other things like getting our family night snacks/dessert ready. Tonight we made S’more Popcorn to go along with our movie, the perfect after dinner sweet treat!
How To Make S’mores Popcorn:
You will need:
- 5 cups of Popped Popcorn
- 3 tbsp. Butter
- 3 Cups Mini Marshmallows
- 1 Cup of Golden Grahams
- 2 Cups of Mini Chocolate Chips
First before you begin you’ll want to grab your little helper. Start by taking your popped popcorn and having them mix in the Golden Grahams, 1 cup of chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup of marshmallows. Using a rubber spatula you can fold the ingredients in a large bowl.
While they’re stirring, melt your butter in a large saucepan and continue cooking until the butter begins to turn golden brown then add 1/2 cup of marshmallows. Stir until your marshmallows have melted.
Next lay your popcorn mix onto a cookie sheet and drizzle the melted marshmallow mix onto your popcorn. This helps stick everything together.
You can also use 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and melt them for some melted chocolate drizzled on top! We melted ours in the microwave at 30 seconds at a time, and once it was done you can take spoon and drizzle it over the top of the popcorn.
Then you’ll let your popcorn mix cool and break it up to serve for later. By this time our dinner was done, we paired the 6 Breaded Chicken Parmagiana Patties with Tomato Sauce with pasta and breadsticks. The multi-serve entrée products from On-Cor features popular flavors and varieties that I know my family will enjoy.
Keep your On-Cor entrée as is, or put a personalized spin on your favorite meal, such as turning the Gravy & Salisbury Steaks into sliders, or adding chicken to the flavorful Macaroni & Cheese.
For your next family meal, head to the freezer aisle of Wal-Mart or check out the store locator at www.on-cor.com to pick up one of On-Cor’s entrées.
