Sponge painting is an activity that my kids always enjoy together, my oldest uses the sponge shapes to create collages and my youngest who’s two and tries to be like her older brother usually just smears it around to mix the colors. For Halloween we gave this activity a little twist and shaped them into candy corn.
In this simple art activity children will use sponges and tempera paint to make a candy corn collage!

Directions:
To begin take some regular kitchen sponges and cut them into the shape of a candy corn. Make sure an adult does this step.
Then we used a paper plate to place our paints in for less mess. Take your white, orange, and yellow paint and squirt your colors onto your plate for easy stamping.
And thats it! Take some black card stock paper and start stamping!
