- Peek-a-Zoo
The Peek-a-Zoo app has been featured by Apple as ‘Best for Kids 5 & Under”. The app features animated farm animals that play peek-a-boo with your child. Your toddler can learn the names and sounds of each animal in up to 5 languages!
- Lullaby Piano
The Lullaby Piano app features a 13 sound key piano for your child to follow the notes to 6 different songs to help with your child’s musical development.
- Elmo Calls
This Elmo Calls app was .99 cents but according to my son it was the best .99 cents ever spent. Your toddler can face-time Elmo, receive audio calls and even voice-mails. What I love about this app is that you can activate calls or schedule them for different situations throughout the day such as bed time, learning to potty or bath time. The app encourages toddlers to practice listening skills, and sing songs with Elmo!
- Winnie the Pooh Wonder and Wander
You and your toddler can interact with Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Woods. Everything is interactive while you travel through the different parts of the Hundred Acre Woods. You can also learn about music, color and paint, enjoy a matching memory game, or interactive puzzles in this free app!
- Laugh & Learn Where’s Puppy’s Nose by Fisher Price
An interactive animated learning environment where your toddler can tap, swipe, tilt and shake to teach all about body parts in this free app!
- Thomas & Friends Engine Activity Fun
An interactive activity app that will keep your little boy entertained with puzzles, matching games, and coloring pages.
- Create & Learn by Fisher Price
The Create and Learn app states that it was designed for 3+ but my 2 year old loves this app and does really well with tracing the letters and has learned to associate letters with objects they may start with. Your child can practice writing techniques for each letter in the alphabet along with paint by number art activities. Each letter is interactive too, which is great because when your child clicks on a letter they learn fun facts and it animates each object keeping them entertained for hours!
- Disney Classics Collection
The Disney Classics Collection app comes with the Dumbo collection for free which includes an interactive Dumbo story that you can personalize for your child. Coloring pages, puzzles, memory games, music and much more!
- Laugh & Learn Let’s Count Animals by Fisher Price
The Fisher Price Let’s Count app is a great way to encourage your toddler to learn about numbers and animals. They can tap, tilt, and shake the screen to interact with the animals. There’s singing and dancing once they’ve counted to 5.
- Shapes Memory Match! Shape Learning
The free Shapes Memory Match app was created by teachers and parents. It is a great app for teaching your toddler recognition skills with memory matching games and fun music. They can match shapes to shapes, items to their shape, and you hear the shapes as you touch them.

My son absolutely loves the Elmo Calls App! Thanks! 😀
This would have been cool when my kids were younger..
They sure didn’t have cool apps like these when my daughters were toddlers. Things sure has gotten better over the years!
I’ve been trying to find apps for my niece (who just turned 1) that are on her level and keep her entertained… instead of her getting into my facebook, twitter, etc. I think some of these will be GREAT for her and her iPhone loving hands! 🙂
These look like a lot of fun fr tots. I’m sure my little ones would love them. Thanks for posting.
It’s a whole new world now. Apps didn’t exist when I had my first two daughters. I will have to decide whether I will get into the App revolution with the baby. If I do, then something like the Fisher Price App is what I’ll go for.
These are very cute apps for kids to enjoy in a computer.
I need to try the lullaby piano one! my kiddo would love it.
