Chicken and Broccoli Crescent Casserole Recipe www.iheartartsncrafts.com

This recipe for Chicken & Broccoli Crescent Casserole is an easy one. The ingredients you probably already have in your pantry and it uses rotisserie chicken so it’s great for one of those last minute meals you need to get on the table asap.  You really can’t go wrong with this casserole. My son is a very picky eater but devours this even when I fill it with veggies. The crescent roll is basically filled with creamy cheesy chicken goodness. There’s many versions that I’ve seen floating around on the internet but this one is mine.

What you need:

1 Rotisserie Chicken

1 Frozen Bag of Steamfresh Broccoli (or whichever vegetable/filling you prefer)

1 cup  of Cheddar Cheese

1 Can of Large Buttermilk Crescents ( Make sure to buy large)

1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup

1/2 Cup of Milk

Spray a 9×13 inch dish and preheat oven to 350. This part can get a little messy which is why I use the large crescents it makes the preparation a little easier. Now you will separate each crescent to prepare for the filling. Next you will mix together the milk, can of cream of chicken and 1/2 cup cheese and set aside. Place the steamfresh bag of vegetables in the microwave to prepare and top the crescent with the shredded chicken and broccoli ( you may have to chop the broccoli into finer pieces to make it easier to roll up). After the broccoli and chicken is placed then top with soup mixture and roll the crescent up and place in the dish, proceed to follow that order with the rest of the crescents. Once your finished and your dish is filled pour the rest of the soup mixture over the crescent rolls and bake for 30 mins. During the last 10 minutes pull out and add the 1/2 cup of cheese to the top and finish cooking until the cheese is melted. Enjoy!!
