This little sensory activity kept my toddler busy for a whole HOUR! Yes ..a whole hour and for a toddler that’s a miracle because mine has an attention span of about 2 seconds. The consistency of the dough is soft and flour like but is mold-able like wet sand. Just throw some little buckets or if you have any boys in your house they’ll love throwing in some Hot Wheels cars. The cloud dough has been used in children’s museums for their sensory activities and consists of only two ingredients that you probably already have on hand which is flour and baby oil. Most recipes call for 8 cups of flour and 1 cup of baby oil but I thought that was a little too much for just one child so I cut it in half to 4 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of baby oil. The only downside to this activity was that it can be a bit messy so we usually have this as a before bath time activity but it’s very easy to clean up!

This is one of my kids FAVORITE sensory activities! Thankfully flour and baby oil are cheap!
I can’t wait to give this a try! My DD is still in the “Everything in the Mouth” phase, so we may have to wait a few months to give it a whirl ๐
What ages is this good for? All or just the little ones? I think my kids may be too old for this, but I will pass it along to my sister. ๐
Great recipe. I can’t wait to try it and get a little messy!
I don’t mind mess… I actually think it is fun! You can only be a kid once. ๐ I am going to try this with Little Bee soon. This looks super fun!
can this be saved and used over? or is it one and done?
