It’s finally starting to feel like summer here so I spent most of my Mother’s Day weekend enjoying this beautiful weather with my kids. I was finally able to dig out all of our summer toys and Jace was so excited that he was finally able to ride his push buggy again. Which has inspired this little post featuring some of my son Jace’s favorite summer must haves from his push buggy, to his bubble lawn mower, and while he was an infant the mushroom baby pool which his sister will be using this summer.

1. Step2 Push Around Buggy (Red)– This buggy makes a great alternative to your stroller in the summer. I used it all summer for taking our son to festivals and even the mall. It’s easier to push through gravel and dirt when we were at festivals so I used this instead of our stroller. The handle is removable so it makes for easy storage in your car and there’s a front compartment for extra storage, which we used for sippy cups! Even if you have a little girl the buggy comes in pink, so I recommend this to everyone I know!
For Only $44.97. Originally $49.99.
2. Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Bibi Bee Watering Can– A great a toy for your little ones when they want to help mommy out in the garden. My son has his own watering can because watering plants in our house is his little ‘chore’ that he loves to do!
For Only $10.87. Originally $12.99.
3. Little Tikes Garden Table – This is another great toy if your child loves helping out in your garden, they can have one of their own!
For Only $29.97. Originally $39.99.
4. Pacific Play Tents Under the Sea Cabana w/ Zippered Mesh Front – This is a must especially if you plan on any family vacations this summer to the beach. When we traveled to OBX last summer we used this on the beach for our son. It was great because he could still play on the beach and I didn’t have to worry about him getting too much sun and he ended up napping in it most of the time.
For Only $26.99. Originally $39.99.
5. Fisher-Price Bubble Mower – My son is always trying to help out and copy his daddy whether he’s building something or mowing the lawn. So this toy was a great idea because its fun, it keeps him entertained with the bubbles and he feels like he’s helping us out at the same time!
For Only @19.99.
6. Little Tikes TotSports T-Ball Set – You can never start too early!
For Only $13.59. Originally $19.99.
7.Step2 Sand Tastic Construction Set – A fun sand construction set for your little boy!
For Only $49.99.
8. Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Seaside Sidekicks Sand Pizza Set – I love this little sand play set. It’s a great alternative to the bucket and shovels that are usually in the sandbox.
9. Mushroom Baby Pool 40″X 35″ This was a great pool that we used while Jace was an infant he’s a little too big for it now but our daughter is 4 months old so it’s perfect for her! The canopy is what sold me on this pool and it was the perfect size.
10.Little Tikes EasyScore Basketball Set – The basketball hoop set is probably a necessity for any child I always had one growing up but I also had a brother. This was Jace and Daddy’s favorite, especially when daddy always let’s him win :]
For Only $24.97. Originally $36.99.

I read this post just in time! I’m planning to get some new toys/activity stations for my two year old next weekend so we can have a smooth summer. I love the water station and watering can. He loves to “help” me when I’m outside gardening. Thanks for the ideas!

These look like a lot of fun! My favorite one is the tent. I have been thinking about camping for a while and this is a good practice toy.

I love the tent! I think my son would just be happy to have it in the house period to play in. LOL so cute!
